When your child is one-year old, they should make their first dental visit. The pediatric dentist would check your child’s teeth and gums, and advise how to go forward with preventative care.

Yes, there are educated specialists for children and adults with special needs. They also have two or more years of training beyond dental school, and their offices are physically equipped for special patients to have easy access.
